Typhoon Koppu, the 24th named storm of 2015 in the northwest Pacific Ocean, is slowly gaining strength, despite battling shearing winds, and has the potential to rapidly intensify before grinding to a halt over the northern Philippines this weekend. Meteorologist Danielle Banks has the details.
