A decades-old marine mystery has finally been solved about what sea turtles do in their juvenile years – a period often called their “lost years.” A team of researchers at the University of Central Florida used satellite tracking and GPS tags attached to juvenile sea turtles’ shells to determine what the turtles do in these key years.
