NASA Goes Big: 3 Moon Missions In 2026 To Start Lunar Base

NASA is revealing its ambitious, nearly $1 billion plan to build the first permanent base on the moon’s South Pole. It begins with three robotic missions to the moon in 2026 alone: Moon Base I, Moon Base II and Moon Base III. NASA also showed off plans for new autonomous rovers and robotic drones built by private companies.
