Not every mask stops wildfire smoke; only an N95, KN95 or FFP2 with a tight seal keeps the tiny particles out. Indoors, switch your HVAC settings, add specialized filters and follow the 5-mile rule: if you can't see 5 miles away, the air is unhealthy.
