Meet Lena, a miniature Australian shepherd from Buffalo, Wyoming, that is 7 years old. Her person writes, "Lena isn’t just my dog—she’s my hiking partner, my cabin companion, and my little guardian of the Bighorn Mountains. Whether we’re driving up the mountain roads or relaxing outside our family cabin, she’s happiest when she’s surrounded by Wyoming’s fresh air, towering pines, and wildlife. One of my favorite memories is watching a family of moose wander near our cabin while Lena quietly sat beside me, taking it all in. She never barked or chased them. She simply watched with the same sense of wonder that I did. In that moment, it felt like she understood that we were visitors in their beautiful home."
