Nothing says summer quite like the sweet, juicy crunch of fresh watermelon — but what if we told you that throwing it on the grill takes it to a whole new level? The heat caramelizes the natural sugars, creating a smoky, slightly charred exterior while keeping the inside cool and refreshing. It's the kind of recipe that sounds surprising but instantly makes sense the moment you take that first bite.

The real magic happens when you add Tajín — that irresistible blend of chili, lime and salt that makes everything it touches taste more alive. The subtle heat and tangy citrus play perfectly against the sweetness of the watermelon, while the grill marks give it a gorgeous, impressive look with almost zero effort. Whether you're hosting a backyard cookout or just looking for a creative way to celebrate National Watermelon Day, this recipe is guaranteed to be a crowd-pleaser.
