The National Weather Service issued a severe thunderstorm watch for Minnesota and South Dakota on Friday, warning of possible tornadoes, high winds and hail. There has been a tornado report and golf ball sized hail in the area as of Saturday morning, as the storm's saucer-shaped cloud base gave it an otherworldly, UFO-like look.
