Hurricane Polo triggers flood threat to Southwest, Plains

After making landfall in Baja California overnight, Hurricane Polo’s moisture is feeding into the Southwest U.S. and Plains, triggering the potential for significant flooding this week. Rounds of very heavy rainfall could lead to flash flooding for multiple days as moisture continues to spread north and east. The biggest threat of flooding on Tuesday is across New Mexico, Arizona and Colorado. By Wednesday, the biggest threat will shift into Texas for cities like Dallas.
