Although we do get glimpses of the mountain goats near the end of the video, the true star of the show is Willy, who turns his mission into one hilarious and entertaining hiking vlog. He films every pant, dramatic head turn, and thought process along the way, making this one of the best hiking vlogs we’ve seen.

“Thank You for Sharing Your Adventures Willy”

Maneuvering his way through the trails, Willy is set on his goal of finding the mountain goats. Although he promises himself not to get distracted, this Golden Retriever’s journey gets off to a rough start, as he instantly loses focus the moment he hears a squirrel nearby.

Taking a detour by the waterfalls, Willy continues to take the scenic route on his journey, which inevitably costs him even more time. At one point, the Golden zooms past his humans, only to later have to turn back and find them again.

Once Willy finally finds the mountain goats, he quickly realizes he’s lost his humans again, so he has to retrace his steps. Willy then hands the camera over to his dad so everyone can get a good look at the mountain goats. Although the moment is brief, Willy and his humans soon need to move on to avoid an incoming storm.
