If there’s a single Los Angeles to Jackson, Wyoming transplant that is universally loved in this world, it’s Bryan Iguchi.

Guch moved to Jackson when he was 21 years old in 1995 to focus on big mountain riding and get into the backcountry. All of snowboarding is pretty thankful he did, because he went on to have one of the best careers around.

The 53 year old has a new pro model board coming out this winter with Arbor called the Astrowaste. Arbor dropped a Fireside Chat with Guch to help celebrate its release.

In the video, Iguchi sits on the side of his snowmobile and talks about transitioning from skating to big mountain riding, moving to Jackson, and a bunch of other stuff. You can watch that in the video above.

You can also buy the Astrowaste at a local shop near you, or at Arbor’s website.
