I chuckled out loud as soon as I saw one reviewer refer to this popular vacuum brand as “basically a member of the family” in their 5-star review. When it comes to vacuum brand popularity, Dyson is widely recognized for quality and durability. It’s certainly not the cheapest on the market, but many reviewers appreciate its cleaning ability and suction power (especially on carpets).

As one of the reviewers said, “After decades of throwing away other vacuums that would only last a few months before they started losing suction and blowing out smelly air (despite replacing filters and cleaning regularly), I decided to purchase a Dyson.” They went on to mention they have a toddler and multiple pets, and “this vacuum handles it all with ease. The Dyson V15 is a little more advanced when it comes to dirt and dust sensors, display information and cleaner head options. Suction once again tops the list in happy reviews, and the illumination feature showing dust and pet hair was incredibly useful, according to some.

Battery life continues to see some struggles, with one reviewer saying it's a solid product but they get only about 20 minutes of run time on carpets, which makes it hard to properly deep clean a home in that duration.

One reviewer called it “worth the money”, saying, “This isn’t my first Dyson, however, I’ve had this for a few months now and I can’t say enough good things about it. I do suggest buying the trigger holder, that would be the only downside…I also bought the mattress accessories, highly recommended as well! I haven’t had to charge it as often as I thought, the battery life is great. It’s compact and very powerful.”
