Amazon has officially announced its holiday shopping kickoff event and Prime Big Deal Days is scheduled for October 7-8, with early sales already live. Expect to see deals across every major category, including tech, home and garden, beauty, outdoors and more. An early sneak peek from Amazon mentioned a few notable brand callouts including Samsung, Sonos, Lancôme and many others.

As with the Prime Day event in July, you must be a Prime member to take advantage of the sale prices, and Amazon is offering a free 30-day trial of Prime for new members.

I have this Rubbermaid food storage set (both plastic and glass) and can’t rave enough how useful they are when it comes to preparing meals and saving leftovers.
