What I Do

Senior Digital Video Producer/Editor

How I Got To The Weather Company

I am a passionate storyteller, and I have been working in the media industry for 20 years.

I have done roles in front and behind the camera, as a reporter, producer, coordinator, editor and more. But after a few years of working in post-production, in a production company called FOX Telecolombia I decided to take on a new challenge and travel to the United States to learn English in 2013.

While doing so, I became eager to continue my passion for film and TV, and I enrolled in SCAD Atlanta to complete a master's degree in film and TV, which led to an internship at CNN Espanol in 2016.

Then I got a great opportunity to work for The Weather Company in 2018, where I am immersed in award-winning storytelling about how weather impacts people every day.

What I Love About Working for The Weather Company

There are many things I love about working for The Weather Company. One is the opportunity to help people by keeping them informed about different situations that can impact their lives. Another is the freedom I get to have to tell a story using creative ways to engage our customers with them.

Favorite Weather Areas

Winter and climate change

Favorite Core Weather Memory

Hurricane Dorian was definitely one of the biggest hurricanes I covered at the beginning of my journey in The Weather Company. Coming from a country where you don’t see this kind of event, this hurricane showed me the real power and force of destruction that weather can have.
