What I Do

During my internship, I will be writing product reviews and deals for Atmosphere by The Weather Channel.

How I Got To The Weather Company

Prior to joining The Weather Channel, I worked as a National Correspondent and Staff Writer for Her Campus, a national online magazine targeted towards college-aged and young adult women. I also served as an editor of the Kennesaw Journal of Undergraduate Research. I work as a freelance journalist publishing in papers such as the Cobb County Courier, and as a Digital Media Coordinator for Cornerstone of Faith Christian Ministries, Inc.

What I Love About Working for The Weather Company

Weather, rain or shine, affects us all, no matter who we are. I love working for The Weather Company because it provides me the ability to write pertinent and timely pieces which inform and assist people in making decisions and navigating their daily lives.

Favorite Core Weather Memory

My favorite core weather memory is Georgia’s “Snowpocalyse” of 2014. Many people were stranded and interstates turned into pseudo parking garages. My family and I were without lights and heat for days. It was amazing to see how my home state, which often goes years at a time without snow, was impacted.

Preferred Weather Areas

I love warm weather and sunny days, whether in Atlanta or New York City, because they afford the most fun!
