How I Got To The Weather Company

I fell in love with broadcast meteorology and science communication during my studies thanks to an internship with CNN's weather department.

After graduating with my master’s from Georgia Tech, I moved to Erie, Pennsylvania, as a broadcast meteorologist and multimedia journalist with Erie News Now. While in Erie, I pursued a master's degree in marine science online, focusing on marine predator conservation. It allowed me to explore the intersections of weather and climate with marine conservation.

I like that my job allows me to talk about and explore meteorological topics as well as marine science.

Immediately getting my car stuck in the snow at 3 a.m. the day after Christmas after moving from Georgia to Pennsylvania in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic.
