WHERE...Portions of south central and southeast Texas. WHEN...From 10 AM Sunday to 6 PM CDT Monday. IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.

WHAT...For the Small Craft Advisory, south winds around 20 kt with gusts up to 25 kt. For the Gale Watch, north winds 30 to 40 kt with gusts up to 45 kt and seas 9 to 15 ft possible. WHERE...Portions of Gulf of America. WHEN...For the Small Craft Advisory, from 7 AM to 10 PM CDT Sunday. For the Gale Watch, from Sunday evening through Monday afternoon. IMPACTS...Strong winds can cause hazardous seas which could capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility. ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Southerly to southwesterly winds will begin to increase early Sunday morning. Winds sharply shift to northerly in the wake of a strong cold front on Sunday evening with increasing wind speeds. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Mariners should consider altering plans to avoid possible hazardous conditions. Remain in port, seek safe harbor, alter course, and/or secure the vessel for severe wind and seas.
