Strong winds that may cause damage are expected. Very strong winds on tap. What: West to southwest wind gusts to 110 km/h When: This afternoon into early this evening. Additional information: Westerly winds gusting to 100 km/h will herald the arrival of a fast moving cold front across the region. Winds will slowly begin to diminish over extreme southwestern Ontario later this afternoon and over remaining areas this evening. ### Local utility outages are possible. Driving conditions will likely be difficult. High-sided vehicles will be pushed around by the wind. Damage to roofs, fences, branches or soft shelters is possible.
