Snow and strong winds expected Friday and Friday night. What: Total snowfall amounts of 10 to 15 cm. Winds gusting 50 to 80 km/h. Isolated utility outages possible. Slippery roads and sidewalks. When: Friday and Friday night. Additional information: Snow is expected to begin Friday morning and continue Friday night before moving out of the region Saturday morning. Snow will be mixed with rain at times Friday afternoon and evening. Southeasterly winds gusting to 50 to 70 km/h Friday morning may result in local blowing snow before temperatures warm into the afternoon. Friday night, winds are expected to shift to the northwest allowing for possible wind gusts between 50 and 80 km/h along with falling temperatures. Winds are expected to ease as the system moves out of the province Saturday morning.
