Description

Rain at times heavy and strong southerly winds are expected, starting on Monday. Locations: most of southern and central New Brunswick.. Total rainfall: 20 to 40 mm, except 40 to 60 mm or more near the Fundy coast. Potential wind gusts: 60 km/h except up to 90 km/h over exposed areas. Time span: beginning Monday afternoon and ending Tuesday afternoon. Remarks: Two heavier pulses of rain are expected, with a break in the rain possible in the overnight hours early Tuesday morning. Very mild temperatures will result in rapid melting of the remaining snowpack. Rainfall warnings have been issued for parts of southern New Brunswick, and these may be expanded in subsequent forecasts. ### Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada.
