Rain at times heavy and strong southerly winds are expected, starting on Monday. Locations: most of southern and central New Brunswick.. Total rainfall: 20 to 40 mm, except potentially over 50 mm near the Fundy coast. Potential wind gusts: 60 km/h except up to 90 km/h over exposed areas. Time span: beginning Monday afternoon and ending Tuesday afternoon. Remarks: very mild temperatures will result in rapid melting of the remaining snowpack. In addition, partially frozen ground will have limited ability to absorb the excess water from the rainfall and the snowmelt. ### Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada.
