• Fairly widespread rain and thunderstorms are likely across Central and Western India, with Gujarat possibly seeing some heavy spells.
• The Konkan coast is also expected to experience heavy rainfall.
• Isolated to scattered rain and thunderstorms are likely elsewhere, with snow expected in northern Ladakh.

• Widespread rain and thunderstorms are likely over Gujarat, Sikkim, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, and the Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
• Fairly widespread rain and thunderstorms are expected over Central and Northeastern India.
• Isolated to scattered rain and thunderstorms are likely in other regions, with some heavy spells along the Konkan coast.

5-day nationwide forecast

The depression that originated in the Bay of Bengal and moved inland has weakened into a low-pressure area in southwestern Madhya Pradesh. However, heavy rain is still expected in Gujarat on Wednesday, with conditions likely to improve afterwards.

A new low-pressure area is expected to form in the Bay of Bengal around Thursday. While the primary rainfall will occur over the sea, increasing rain is anticipated in Odisha, southern Chhattisgarh, Telangana, and northern Andhra Pradesh over the next few days.
