Total snow accumulations between 1 and 4 inches and ice accumulations around a light glaze. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph. WHERE...La Salle, DuPage, Kane, Kendall, Lake IL, and Northern Cook Counties. WHEN...From 10 PM this evening to 1 PM CDT Monday. IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions will impact the Monday morning commute. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Slow down and use caution while traveling. The latest road conditions for Illinois can be obtained at www.gettingaroundillinois.com. Be prepared for slippery roads. Slow down and use caution while driving. WHERE...Portions of northeast Illinois, including the following counties, Cook, DuPage and Will and northwest Indiana, including the following county, Lake IN. WHEN...Until 930 PM CDT. IMPACTS...Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Underpasses may be flooded. Roads and streets may be flooded. ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 800 PM CDT, Local law enforcement reported flooded roads and viaducts in Chicago. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
