WHAT...For the Winter Weather Advisory, snow. Additional snow accumulations between 1 and 3 inches. Winds gusting as high as 50 mph leading to blowing snow this evening. For the Winter Storm Watch, heavy mixed precipitation possible. Total snow and sleet accumulations between 5 and 12 inches and ice accumulations between one tenth and a quarter of an inch possible. Locally higher snow and ice amounts will be possible. Winds could gust as high as 45 mph. WHERE...A portion of Northern Lower Michigan. WHEN...For the Winter Weather Advisory, until 2 AM EDT Saturday. For the Winter Storm Watch, from late Saturday night through Monday evening. IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible.
