Second Summer is Here for the North, How Long Will It Last?

The Northern US is seeing extremely hot temperatures for the weekend. Temperatures 10-25 degrees above normal are expected and should last into the weekend before a cold front brings some temperatures more in line with fall. Cities like Minneapolis will drop from near 90 on Saturday to the 60s by Monday. Similar story to Chicago, which will drop from the mid to upper 80s on Sunday to the 60s on Tuesday. This cool weather will eventually end up in the Northeast, but the South will not see much of the cooler weather for now. Here is the latest.
