Above-Average Temperatures For Most Of Lower 48 This Week

Spring is trying to take the reins from winter as above average temperatures are set to spread across most of the lower 48 this week. Highs up to 30 degrees above average will start in the central U.S. and move their way east. Parts of the Southern Plains and Florida will see multiple days of highs in the 70s and 80s, while the Southeast and Central Plains will reach the 60s. The warmth will not last for some as a cold plunge is set to take hold of the Northern Plains this weekend. Here’s the latest.
