Flash Flooding and a Few Severe Storms Possible From the Midwest to the East Thursday

A slow-moving storm system will continue to bring a threat of heavy rain and a few severe storms from the Midwest to parts of the East as we close out the week.

Severe storms produced accumulating hail along the Interstate 25 corridor near Longmont, Colorado, or 25 miles north of Denver, early Tuesday afternoon.

In Abarr, Colorado, located 100 miles east of Denver near the Kansas border, windows were punched out by hail as large as baseballs. Several tree branches were also pushed inside of a house by strong winds.
