Strong Storms Possible in the Mid-Atlantic, Northeast Sunday Evening

Tornadoes Are More Powerful Than We Realize

A few strong to severe storms may develop in the Northeast and mid-Atlantic regions ahead of a cold front Sunday evening.

Saturday afternoon and evening, there were several reports of tornadoes ahead of the same cold front in parts of Ohio, Indiana and Michigan.

In the wake of this stormy weather, some much cooler air will be ushered in behind the cold front for the start of the week.
