A storm system will impact the Great Lakes and the Northeast this weekend, bringing another round of rain and snow to much of the Northern U.S. With the colder air that will be over the area, snowfall of 1-5 inches is expected for parts of the northern Great Lakes, Upper Midwest and interior Northeast. Some parts of the Appalachians could also see 1-3 inches, which will help skiers to enjoy some natural snowfall. There could even be some snowfall approaching New York City, which will continue to be monitored. Here’s the latest.
