Northeast: When, How Much More Snow Could Fall

February 9, 2026

The Northeast cannot seem to catch a break. After a bitter cold weekend, we are tracking a clipper system that could bring light snow to the Northeast Tuesday into Wednesday. Snow will generally be on the light side, ranging from 1-3 inches for many, but any additional snow will impact travel. Three to 8 inches of snow will be possible across Upstate New York and the higher elevations. Get your hour-by-hour forecast and the latest snow totals here.
