Where Snow Squalls Could Impact Travel

February 7, 2026

The next round of snow will move across the Northeast beginning Friday as an arctic cold front blasts across the region. This is expected to be a light snowfall overall with a swath of 1 to 3 inches for many. Snow may linger across New England Saturday, so higher totals will be possible around Boston and in the higher elevations of the Appalachians. Strong northwest winds could gust as high as 50 to 60 mph, which could lead to tree damage, power outages and snow squalls. Watch this video to see when your travel could be impacted.
