The storm system that has caused never-ending rainfall across sections of the South and Midwest is finally on the move, but a high risk of flooding will persist overnight. Flooding could exist for several days until rainwater can run off and rivers can empty. The Southeast has at least one more day of rain and thunderstorms before the system pushes off the coast.
