Flooding Expected In Southern US This Week

Soaking-wet will be the theme for the first half of this week across portions of the South. Significant flash flooding is possible Monday and Tuesday for much of the Gulf Coast, from Texas to Mississippi. Days of rain, on top of an already wet few weeks, means any additional rainfall could result in a flash flooding situation, especially where the heaviest storms set up. Places like Dallas, Shreveport, Little Rock and even Jackson, Mississippi, could see flash flooding. The peak of the heavy rain will occur Tuesday into Tuesday night, where we will be watching closely for flooding. Watch to see where the biggest impacts will be.
