Norfolk City Management Closing Floodgates Before Nor’easter

In anticipation of a nor’easter developing over the weekend, Norfolk City Management is beginning to close their floodgates ahead of up to six and half feet of coastal inundation. The flooding in Norfolk is expected to be on par with recent tropical systems, such as Hurricane Joaquin in 2015.
