A cold front is going to bring some rain and a couple of rumbles of thunder for the Southeast, including Georgia, Mississippi and Alabama. So far, these storms are not expected to be severe. This is the ideal situation as a slower and steadier rain like this will be able to be absorbed by the soil and will not runoff. These areas are in drought and could really use the rain, so any precipitation is helpful to chip away at the deficit. Here’s the latest.
