The pattern of moisture hitting the West continues again with more lower elevation rain and mountain snowfall early this week. Coastal flood watches are in effect across Northern California. The Bay Area has already seen record tide heights. Southern California could see an additional inch of rain whereas the northern parts of the state could see 3 or more additional inches. The Sierra Nevada could see additional feet of snowfall, which will help to bring the snowpack closer to average for this time of year. By late Monday into early Tuesday precipitation will taper off. Watch for the latest forecast.
