The Dragon Bravo Fire has been burning along the Grand Canyon’s North Rim since the Fourth of July. This week, it surged in size, burning more than 100,000 acres, making it a megafire. Fueled by dry conditions, intense heat and gusty winds, containment dropped by more than half. Dramatic video shows how the fire produced a massive, powerful cloud capable of generating storms and even tornadoes.
