Stranded Hikers Airlifted From Snowy Mountainside

Five stranded hikers were rescued from a snowy mountainside near Big Bear Lake in California last month. The hikers, who were prepared for the winter conditions, were unable to continue when their vehicles failed in the evolving conditions. The hikers were safely airlifted by Air Rescue 308, with no injuries reported. They were able to go back and get their vehicles when the weather subsided.
