Cold weather is right around the corner and experts say it’s time to get vaccinated against COVID to prevent a winter surge. A third updated vaccine was authorized — a new Novavax formula in addition to the already-approved updated Pfizer and Moderna formulas. Reformulated vaccines are meant to protect against newer strains of COVID.
