There were hundreds of reports of flooding across the Southeast as Helene moved inland. That included more than a foot in Hendersonville, North Carolina, fears of a dam failure in Lake Lure, North Carolina, and a rescue of more than 50 people from the roof of Unicoi County Hospital in Erwin, Tennessee.
