Millions Under Alerts From Record-Smashing Heat Wave

Temperatures are soaring across the western half of the country as a long-lived heat wave continues to affect millions of people. A new temperature record for March was even broken earlier this week. Temperatures will peak in the Central Plains on Saturday before the heat moves eastward Sunday. Things heat back up in the center of the country by next week, and they stay warm into next month.
