The dry spell for tropical activity in the Caribbean Sea is likely to come to an end this week as tropical development for Invest 98L is becoming more and more likely. The system has high chances of becoming Tropical Storm Melissa some time this week. It’s still too early to determine what regions might be impacted by the system if/when it officially forms, but the Greater Antilles, Central America and even Florida should all be on alert just in case.
