Spring weather is finally here, and one of my favorite ways to embrace the season is by swapping out the heavier drinks of winter for something light, bright and bursting with flavor. Where I live, in Alabama, the azaleas are already blooming, front porch days are in full swing, and I’d be hard-pressed to spot a neighbor without a fun drink in their hand.

The month of March brings a bounty of juicy citrus, sweet berries and fragrant herbs – basically nature’s way of telling us to start sipping on something refreshing. Whether you're in the mood for a fruit-filled punch or a zesty lemonade, these spring-inspired sips have you covered with ingredients specifically selected for their seasonality. Grab a glass, add some ice, and toast to warmer days ahead:

Citrus Rosemary Lemonade

Why You’ll Love It: Fresh citrus paired with fragrant rosemary creates a spalike lemonade that’s both refreshing and soothing.

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups water
  • 1 cup fresh lemon juice (about 4 lemons)
  • One-half cup fresh orange juice (about 1 orange)
  • One-third cup honey or sugar
  • 2 sprigs fresh rosemary
  • Ice cubes

Instructions:

    1. In a small saucepan, combine water, sweetener of choice and rosemary. Simmer for five minutes, then let cool.
    2. Strain out the rosemary and mix the syrup with the lemon and orange juices.
