Hurricane Melissa To Impact Bermuda Thursday Night

Hurricane Melissa is quickly moving northeast and will likely pass northwest of Bermuda Thursday night. Strong winds and outer rainbands will be possible late Thursday into Thursday night. Wind speed will depend on how close the center of the storm gets to the islands. Melissa is expected to weaken and lose its tropical characteristics as it moves into cooler waters north of Bermuda.
