Have you done something kind today?

For almost 30 years, the 13th of November has been World Kindness Day, a celebration of the importance of kindness in our lives.

After Hurricane Melissa devastated the Caribbean, we’ve been following an outpouring of kindness for residents trying to rebuild their lives after the storm.

In Spain, more than 70 people have volunteered to travel to Jamaica to help set up a field hospital for those injured.

More than 300 rescue workers from El Salvador traveled to the island to help deliver and distribute humanitarian aid.

While the dedication of kind volunteers is always impressive, an act of kindness can be much smaller, too.

Many have been donating to humanitarian relief organizations like the Red Cross, CARE and World Central Kitchen to help support their efforts there.

Kindness Close To Home

Doing something simple today, like raking fall leaves for an elderly neighbor, can be a generous way to share kindness this season.

As winter approaches, there are many who need coats and blankets to stay warm in the coldest months. Donating an extra blanket or a coat that no longer fits can be a life-saving act of kindness for someone who needs it.
