The Wildest Photos from Winter 2014 -2015

This winter has brought seemingly non-stop snow to some parts of the U.S. The winter weather began in western New York, where a lake-effect snow storm brought up to 88 inches to areas around Buffalo from Nov. 17 through Nov. 21.

This season marks the second snowiest season on record in Boston, with a total of 102 inches as of Feb. 27. The snowiest winter on record, the winter of 1995 and 1996, beat that number by only 5.6 inches. In February, alone, Boston saw a total of more than 64 inches, most of which were produced by winter storms Juno and Marcus, making this the snowiest month on record in Boston.

In just the past few weeks, the South was affected by four winter storms: Octavia, Pandora, Quantum and Remus. The midwest will continue to see snow this weekend and next week.

This record-setting winter has left us with some pretty stunning photos. View the above slideshow for a collection of this winter's best images.
