Major Recovery From Titanic's Sister Ship

September 25, 2025

Artifacts from Titanic’s sister ship, the Britannic, have been recovered for the first time since it sank during World War I. The ship, which became the largest hospital ship during the war, sank in less than an hour after it hit a mine. It sank in 1916 off the island of Kea, which is about 45 miles southeast of Athens, Greece.
