Tiny Dog Rescued From 'Ruff' NYC Waters

(NYPD)

On Monday morning, first responders from the New York Police Department’s Special Operations Division rescued a very small dog from what they called the “ruff waters” of the East River. Responding officers with the department’s Harbor Unit wrapped the pup in a warm blanket and ensured that she was safe.

(NYPD)

The dog, who is now recovering at New York City Animal Care Centers, has not been claimed, and officials are trying to find its owner. If you recognize her, please call 800-577-TIPS(8477).
