First responders in North Carolina leapt into action as usual earlier this week, but this call wasn't about a fire: It was about a tiny kitten stuck in the wheel well of a car.

On social media, a department spokesperson for the Huntersville Fire Department explained that firefighters made a roadside rescue on Wednesday after the kitten crawled into the wheel well of a motorist's car. Photographs from the scene showed a patient firefighter calmly extracting the scrawny and strangely unperturbed-looking orange feline.

The story has a happy ending: The car owner decided to take the kitten to take care of it. Good luck to both of them!
