Perci is a 21-year-old rat terrier/chihuahua mix from Louisville, Kentucky. His owner writes, "He was an ambassador dog to my foster dogs. I fostered wallflower dogs for the Kentucky Humane Society. These dogs were terrified of humans. Some just scared for no reason, others abused or neglected. Perci would cuddle and play with them, also helping to show how Perci and I reacted with each other. Eventually they would learn to trust me and I could work with them to become available for adoption. He retired 6 years ago but still gets to visit and play with a couple of old fosters. He doesn't like stormy weather. Definitely prefers sun and clear skies so he can lay and bask in the sun's rays, but will make an exception for rain as long as he is wearing his raincoat. He much prefers to cuddle in my lap under a blanket."
