When a tiny kitten found itself in a tight spot this week, the Green Bay Metro Fire Department answered the call for a very different kind of emergency.

The crew from Truck 2 responded to reports of a young cat stuck inside a radiator, launching a delicate rescue operation that required both patience and precision. After careful work, firefighters successfully freed the frightened feline without causing any injuries.

The heartwarming rescue had a happy ending when the kitten was joyfully reunited with its relieved owners.

"Always proud to help our furry friends in need," the Fire Department shared on social media, reminding the community that their services extend beyond fighting fires to protecting all residents, both two-legged and four-legged (as the case may be).
